…early this morning Grandpa Sullivan (aka grandpy:) went home to be with the Lord. It is hard to put into words the loving, kind, hardworking, Godly man that he was. We will miss him so much.

There is no doubt in my mind that this morning he heard the words that we all long to hear…”Well done good and faithful servant…”
We leave tomorrow to drive to Nebraska for the funeral. It will be a bittersweet time of mourning and celebration of his life that was lived in faithful service to his Savior, his wife of 60+ years, and his family. He leaves a beautiful legacy.
I envy the angels…now they are the ones who get to enjoy all his great jokes:).
We love you Grandpa…looking forward to spending eternity together.
P.S. Thank you Liz for letting me “steal” your picture.:)
…to Mom aka Grandma:)

We love you! Thanks for all that you do. You are a blessing to each of us and we are so thankful to live so close and get to spend our “everydays” with you. Happy, Happy Birthday!
All our Love,
Galen, Jenn, Jack, Mack, Tuck, and Luke:)

…such good buddies.
She built a “fort” in the playroom yesterday.
Tucker walked in, saw the fort and said,
“Kenzie, you did a great job!”
It made her so happy to hear him say that.
I wonder what he’s going to do without her
when she goes to kindergarten in the fall?
Their relationship is so precious…
only 15 months apart…
little did I know what a blessing that would
turn out to be.:)

…we had a wonderful time celebrating our Risen Lord…a beautiful, outdoor worship service, lunch at my parents house, two Easter egg hunts, lots of candy, and some really cute kids…:)

“Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles,
wonders and signs, which God did among you through Him, as
you yourselves know. This man was handed over to you
by God’s set purpose and foreknowledge; and you,
with the help of wicked men, put Him to death by nailing
Him to the cross. But God raised Him from the dead,
freeing Him from the agony of death, because it
was IMPOSSIBLE for death to keep its hold
on Him”… Acts 2:22-24
He is Risen…
He is Risen Indeed.

…my favorite is the one of Tucker running with the helmet on…it’s just as big as he is.:)

…Tucker’s T-ball practice ran late tonight so by the time we got home it was past bedtime. I quickly put Tucker and Mackenzie in the tub and ran to Tucker’s room to put something away. Then I hear, “Mommy”, “Mommy”, MOMMY!” “What Tucker?” “Um, I think I forgot to wipe.” “What?!” “I think I forgot to wipe, you better come in here right now.” So, I walk into the bathroom to find Tucker AND Mackenzie (poor thing:) sitting in bathwater with little “floaties.” YUCK!
I had no words…
Ahh, the glamorous life of a mom.

…the night before April Fools Day Jackson told me that he had some really good ideas on how to “fool me” on April Fools Day. I smiled and honestly didn’t give it much thought.:) The next morning, Jackson left for school and I was running around like a crazy person trying to get the rest of us ready for Bible study. Mackenzie asked for Raisin Bran for breakfast and so I quickly grabbed the box, a bowl, and a spoon. As I’m pouring the cereal into the bowl I realize that Honeycomb cereal is coming out. I check the box to make sure I grabbed the right one and yes, it’s the Raisin Bran box. I cannot figure out what is going on. Galen calls as this is all going on and I ask him if he was switching around cereal:)…and then it hit me…it’s April Fools Day…
too smart for his own good this seven year old is…:)

The best part was when we picked him up from school and Mackenzie told him what happened. You should have seen the big smile on his face!:) I still can’t figure out how he knew which two boxes to pick. We have at least 10 boxes of cereal in our pantry. Too funny.
happy Friday…
jenn:)
